Grandparent's Celebration

Last Friday at Ava's school.....they had a special Grandparent's Celebration Day. Ava was soooo excited to have both of her "nana's" (and papa Joe too) there!! They spent the time doing special little crafts and having a special treat (all of Ava's favorite things to do)!!!

Colorado.....

The end of September I did a little "weekend getaway" in Colorado with my sister-in-law Katie and Sean's Aunt Mary(who lives out there)......and I keep asking myself since then....Why do we live in Wisconsin??? I cannot begin to explain how beautiful the mountains are and why we live in cow fields??
We started the weekend in denver (where Mary lives) and took a scenic road trip over to Breckenridge and Estes Park....WOW what a beautiful drive!! We had the most beautiful weather....sunny and 75 degrees the entire time we were there!!
Our days were spent sleeping in, having coffee, shopping, hiking, and great food!!! Perfect!

The Elk just roam freely....as seen here on a local golf course....CRAZY!! And crazy how close we were able to get to them with out charging us....well maybe.....that's a whole other story!!

Happy Anniversary

Sean and I celebrated our 9th Wedding Anniversary yesterday!! Wow 9 years already....time flies when you are having fun!!!
Thanks to Patty watching the kids for us....we got to enjoy a fabulous dinner out!!!

A visit from Braylon Cooper....

Saturday we had a little visit from my sister, Jed, Braylon and of course Weagan!! I think Braylon was excited to get out of his car seat, stretch his legs and see us and we were exctied to see him!!! How cute is he.......

Packers Season Opener....

Last Thursday Sean and I headed over to Green Bay to watch the Packers defeat the Saints in a 42-34 victory season opener!!
With all the hype and media attention the season opener was getting all week, I thought we were crazy to even attempt to go and be part of all this crazy madness....I'm so glad that we went!!! We had a GREAT time and couldn't have asked for a more beautiful night for football!! We got to meet up with some of our great friends from Green Bay to tailgate and even got to catch a glimpse of the much anticipated concerts that were going on!!
I know it's really hard to see....but the "Flyovers" have to be one of the coolest things ever....gives me goose bumps every time!!!! Having seats in the south endzone....we get to see the jets coming way before half of the stadium even knows they are coming!! So cool!
