Ava's "BIG GIRL" Bed....

So after about a year of Ava sleeping on the floor at the foot of our bed....we decided she needed to get a BIG GIRL bed (yes I know what you are all thinking!)! I thought this would be a really hard transition for her, but she was super excited to get her bed, pick out the bedding , put the bed together, make the bed and best of all SLEEP int the bed all by HERSELF!!!! Yay AVA!!

P.S.......It's only been one night so we'll see how this goes........

It's Christmas for Halloween!!!!

So we pulled into the drive way yesterday and of course Eagle Eyes (Noah) spotted two boxes at the front door....he just about killed himself getting out of the door while I was still driving! He ran up as fast as he could to see whose names were on the boxes! I got a quick peek at the boxes and got REAL excited to see 1 Robert Mondovi and 1 Southern Comfort box! :-) I new exactly who they where from and they were not for me! :-( Thanks NANA....next time I want the Robert Mondavi...the whole box!!

I've never seen 2 kids tear open packages so quickly!!
Yummy gummy eyeball pizza!

Her face says it all......yay yummy candy! I LOVE candy! I LOVE Halloween!!!

Thanks NANA!!! I will return the "sugar high" favor! :-)

Noah's Final Football Game......

Noah decided that he wanted to play flag football this fall........following in his Dad's foot steps!
These little guys had a GREAT season and were adorable to watch! For a group of 5 year olds...they were pretty darn good!

Noah and his buddy Jack.....tough guys!

Noah doing some "serious" blocking...

That's Noah(I know it's kind of hard to tell) taking off like a rocket to score a Touchdown!!!! Just like his daddy use to do ! :-) Man this kid is fast.....GREAT job NOAH!!

Here's our little football stud! :-) He had a GREAT game and great season!

Say AHHHHH........

Ava's First dental visit was this past Friday (finally at the age of 3 1/2)! You'd think that being a dental hygienist your kids would just let you take them into your dental office and they would sit and let you clean their teeth, right? Well that's NOT the case with our kids!! We have a GREAT Pediatric office here that works miracles with kids-especially mine! :-) I don't know what they do but they get the job done (I think it's the huge toy box that they bribe the kids with) and that's all that matters!

She hesitated to sit and go for "a ride" in the chair.......
But as soon as they gave her a pair of headphones and told her that she could watch Dora while they "brushed" her teeth.....she was SOLD!

Time for "pictures" of her teeth....

The BEST part of the appointment was playing on the huge indoor slide after her appointment......and of course NO CAVITIES!!!! Yay! GREAT job Ava!!!

Yummy.....Apple PIE!!!

Ava and I decide to bake an apple pie today as a special surprise for Nana&Papa(Gehin) to welcome them back from Chicago-they were visiting with Auntie Katie, Nolan, Shiloh, Auntie Sarah and Ziya this past weekend! We know how much they love their apple pie(especially Nana)!!!!

Ready to bake......Let's hope it turns out okay!!!

Looks yummy!!!........ Hope it tastes as good as it looks!!

Apple Picking/Pumpkin Patch

Fancy pants HAS to wear a tutu of course......

With the GORGEOUS weather we are having, we couldn't think of anything better to do than to take the kids to pick apples and pumpkins! The kids had a BLAST and a tummy ache after all the apples they consumed!!
Noah asked me if I knew how all these apple trees were made......he told me "By Johnny Appleseed of course"!!

Welcome to our website!!!

So for the longest time I have people constantly telling me to email them or send them pictures of the kids.....so I have decided that it is much easier to start up a blog and keep everyone up to date on what is going on in our so very busy, crazy lives!! My sister is the one who has really been pushing me to do this....she started up a blog before her and her husband(JED) got married last year and thought it was a fabulous way to keep everyone up to date on their wedding plans at the time. So I am going to try (the key word is TRY) to do the same........
Be patient with me....I'm new at all of this and don't really know what I am doing, I promise it will get better the more I do this!!!!
I could go on and on of all the exciting things we did this summer and fall so far....I will just touch on the few of the hightlights!
